Private Boat Trips from
Agios Sostis

Agios Sostis sits at the southern edge of Zakynthos — the closest harbour to the National Marine Park, Marathonisi Turtle Island, and the Keri Caves. A private boat from here means turtle spotting in Laganas Bay before the group tours arrive and the dramatic Mizithres rocks without the crowds.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we see sea turtles?

Yes. Agios Sostis is the closest departure point to Laganas Bay and the National Marine Park, where Caretta caretta sea turtles feed and breed. Turtle spotting is highly likely, especially on the Plus, Premium, and Prestige packages which include dedicated snorkel stops in the Marine Park.

Can we land on Marathonisi (Turtle Island)?

Yes, during permitted daytime hours. Marathonisi is a protected nesting beach — landing is allowed on the sandy western side, while the nesting areas are roped off and strictly protected. Your captain will advise on conditions on the day.

What's the difference from North?

North is the closest departure area to Navagio Shipwreck and the Blue Caves. Agios Sostis (south) is the gateway to the National Marine Park, turtles, Keri Caves, and Mizithres. Choose based on what you want to see — or book the Prestige package from either point for a full island circuit.

Can we swim inside the Keri Caves?

Yes. Our boats enter the Keri Caves arches, and you can swim through them. The water inside glows an extraordinary deep blue from the sunlight refracting through the limestone — one of the most photographed swimming spots in Zakynthos.
